Gabby Chaves Fourth At Lime Rock

Lakeville, CT - This was not the best race weekend for Gabby at Lime Rock Park. Starting with mechanical problems during the official practices that put him against the wall when he lost the brakes was just the beginning of a not very lucky weekend.

On Saturday’s race a very unusual and confusing start of the race sends  Gabby to an 8th position by the first turn after qualifying 3rd for this race, however he managed to work his way back to fight for 3rd position taking a close 4th spot at the finish line.

Sunday’s race was looking better when Gabby quickly took over the lead by lap three but he was taken out on the next lap by an attempt to take the lead in turn one, at the end Gabby came in 7th at the finish line.
