Gabby Chaves Received Award

Colombian Gabby Chaves driver received the trophy that proved his Rookie Champion Italian Formula 3 2010, a recognition that for the first time reaches the hands of a Colombian athlete. The award ceremony took place at the newly opened National Automobile Museum in Turin, Italy, where more than 500 people attended the Italian elite motor sport, including Stefano Domenicali, Director of Sports Management Ferrari, Piero Lardi Ferrari, son of Enzo Ferrari and Luca Baldisserri, Director of the Ferrari Driver Academy.

Just hours before receiving the award, Chaves participated in the first official test of the GP3, where tested with ADDAX Team at Paul Ricard track in Le Castellet, France. There, got the third best time in the day the first day among 30 drivers within which were the champions of the main categories European, American and Asian, many of them in the Formula 1 test.

Chaves decide in the coming days the team that will compete in the GP3 series to start next May and will be broadcast by major television channels in Latin America, USA and Europe, because it is a category runs on the same dates and on the same routes of Formula 1.
